Directions to the EnCana Events Centre
- COMING IN FROM GRANDE PRAIRIE / EDMONTON on HWY
2 - As you come into the town of Pouce Coupe, you will proceed
north and then west towards the Dawson Creek Airport. As you drive
west down the hill approaching the Dawson Creek Airport, you will drive
past and on your right (north as you travel west ) will be the EnCana
Events Centre. A large highway sign is present and the centre is due
east of the Chances Gaming Centre. If you pass the Chances, and
get to the WalMart, you have driven too far.

- COMING IN FROM PRINCE GEORGE / VANCOUVER ON HWY
97S - As you approach Dawson Creek, you will come up to cemetary
on the left and you want to turn right and drive up to the first light
(Alaska Hwy and 17th Street). Heading east, you will drive through
2 lights before you get to a traffic circle or roundabout. Drive due
south (turning right) and drive straight south until you get to the
Walmart ( its about 9 blocks ) and follow the road around to the left
so you are now driving due east. Go through the light at the Wal-Mart
and the next light BEFORE you get to the airport ) will be your turn
to the EnCana Events Centre. Its huge and easy to see from the Hwy.
- COMING IN FROM FORT ST JOHN ( HWY 97N ) - As you approach Dawson Creek, you will come up to cemetary on the right and you want to drive straight and drive up to the first light (Alaska Hwy and 17th Street). Heading east, you will drive through 2 lights before you get to a traffic circle or roundabout. Drive due south (turning right) and drive straight south until you get to the Walmart ( its about 9 blocks ) and follow the road around to the left so you are now driving due east.
